Control Tower – Ben Gurion International Airport
Construction characteristics: execution of pilings slurry walls, preparation of the tower’s 100 meter skeleton consisting of a square internal structure within a cone shaped external structure with roofs connecting the two sections.
Location: Ben Gurion International Airport Construction features: piles and slurry walls; 100 meters tall building frame which consists of a square inner core and outer cone shaped stiffening core with a conjunction of ceilings between them. Control booth with advanced systems at the top of the tower and aluminum cladding. The casting of cores was continuous using SLIPFORMING molds.
